Boston Summer Bucket List

Wahoo! It’s almost summertime! If you are sticking around Boston this summer, it is time to say goodbye to textbooks and hello to flip flops and sun rays. Here’s my Boston Summer 2011 Bucket List, full of things to keep you entertained around the city when you’re not busy lounging.

1. The annual Boston Chowderfest is an all-you-can-eat buffet of, you guessed it, clam chowdah! For only $12, sample New England chowder from the city’s best restaurants. It’s also a competition between restaurants in the area for the best soup. The event is on July 3rd in a gated area on City Hall Plaza.

Behind the Scenes at College Day at Fenway Park Presented by Edhance!

On top of the Green Monster!

On April 20th, Edhance helped Fenway kick off their 100th year with College Day at Fenway Park! With a new logo unveiled, and new display screens installed, the excitement at the ballpark was at an all time high! College students lined up to roam the revamped but ever historic Fenway Park.

Starting off our tour of the ballpark, the Edhance crew stepped up to bat in the Red Sox’s batting cages. Our enthusiastic approach didn’t quite yield any homeruns. I did manage to tap the ball though, one of my finer sporting moments! We then had the opportunity to hear Director of Planning and Development and BU alum, Paul Hanlan, tell us all about Red Sox culture. Seating 35,000, Fenway is the smallest ballpark in baseball and provides fans with a unique, almost intimate experience.

Edhance Presents College Day at Fenway Park!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, but most importantly… college students!

College Day at Fenway Park Presented by Edhance

On April 20, 2011, Edhance will present College Day at Fenway Park and open its gates to all college students across the city.  Edhance’s College Day at Fenway Park will offer students a chance to see the park, hit in the batting cages, meet Wally the Green Monster, and Edhance will even provide a special opportunity for students to receive discounts on select Red Sox tickets. From 12-6pm, this free event will host students and their favorite brands, as well as games, prizes, giveaways and more. Some of the featured partners attending the event include Victoria’s Secret PINK, StudentUniverse, Pop Chips, Reebok, Ben & Jerry’s and Karmaloop.
