One of the summers biggest trend is the wedge sandal, and I could not be happier. Not only are they more comfortable than your average heel, wedges can be worn with almost any summer outfit. Because wedges come in so many heights, colors, styles and patterns, you can wear the shoe to a causal lunch or a fancy dinner. Wedges are a super easy way to add some flavor and spice up an outfit!
I am a huge fan of wearing heels, which I rarely throw on unless it is a special occasion. Wedges are an exception, I can put on a simple pair of wedges and not feel over dressed, or uncomfortable. Because the heel of the shoe supports the entire foot, I can wear them for a much longer time period without feeling like my foot is about to fall off.

Christina wears a simple causal outfit, but gives it a punch with these statement wedges. Because she is wearing simple colored clothing, nothing over the top, the wedges work wonderfully.

Mary-Kate wears a black gladiator style wedge. This wedge is simple and versatile, and can be worn casually with a pair of leggings and a loose shirt, or a trendy dress for a night out. Mary-Kate wears the shoe out and about (Far left and right) and then to a event (Middle)

If I were to pick one wedge, this would be it! I love love love brown chunky wedges. Vanessa is wearing a easy tank with laid back jeans. The shoes add some spunk to the look.

I checked Shoes.com but I wasn’t able to find wedges similar to the ones celebrities are using. 😦 Can you recomend one that I can use with my yellow sundress?

Yellow goes great with white, brown or black. There are so many options on shoes.com it can be overwhelming and hard to know where to start! The site offers a quick way to narrow down your search. When you click on the link http://www.shoes.com/en-US/Womens/_/_/Sandals~Wedge/_/Products.aspx you can choose the color of the shoe your looking for. Unfortunately, the wedges the celebrities are wearing are super pricey and hard to find, so I took the liberty and choose three wedges(one of each color) from shoes.com that I think would look great with a yellow sundress.
